What you need to know
Location
Throughout the day, you can enjoy tasting over 18 spectacular cool-climate wines, with the option of a delicious lunch. You will be well looked after and hosted by an Altitude guide in the company of a small group. Be prepared to be educated and entertained while tasting great wines!
Travel to the Gibbston wine region, home to amazing wineries, award-winning winemakers, and known for Pinot Noir, but try a range of varieties on our sampler tour.

- Tastings at four cellar doors in the Gibbston wine region
- Taste over 18 spectacular cool-climate wines, both reds and whites
- Tour of the Gibbston Valley Winery underground wine cave
- Wine-certified tour guide
- Transport in a premium Mercedes van with onboard Wi-Fi and Spotify
- Convenient pick-ups from select Queenstown hotels and bus stops

Time
- The 6 hour Wine Sampler tour departs Queenstown daily at 10am and returns around 4pm.
- Departure location to be confirmed with operator prior to tour

- Please note minimum passenger numbers are required for this tour to operate.
- Please remember to bring along valid identification (particularly if you look under 25) This is either an NZ drivers license or International passport. Overseas driver licenses will not be accepted.
- Locations are subject to change, however in the case where we cannot visit one of the mentioned cellar doors, it will replaced with an equally great location with delicious wines to taste.
