• Check-in closes 30 minutes prior to departure time

Duration

• This is approximately a 25 minute flight (including the alpine landing). Please allow approximately 1 hour for check-in, safety briefing and your flight.

Departure Location

• This tour departs and returns from The Helicopter Line Base, situated on the Main Road (State Highway 6), Franz Josef Glacier, 7856.

• Warm clothing - rain proof jacket
• Comfortable and sturdy shoes
• Sunglasses and sunscreen
• Phone and camera (please make sure large cameras are on a strap)

Additional Information

• On all scenic flights, minimum numbers apply of 3 passengers. Individual bookings may be combined if neccessary to achieve minimum numbers.
• Glacier Helicopters carry a maximum of six passengers per flight.
• On occasion, map routes may change at the pilots' discretion. We will keep you informed of any changes to the published information.
• A child is 4-14 years.
• Infant is 0-3 years.
• All children must be accompanied by a paying adult
• Infants 0-3 must be seated on an adults lap.
• Children over 15kg are required to have their own seat.

Cancellation Policy

• Customers will receive a full refund or credit with minimum 24 hours’ notice of cancellation
• Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price
• Customers cancelling within 24 hours of departure and/or are No-shows, will be charged the full price
