Expertly guided aboard one of Billy Tea Safari’s custom 4WD vehicles, this immersive wet-tropics experience showcases the flora, fauna and diverse landscapes of the oldest continually surviving rainforest on the planet. Highlights include a scenic coastal drive, Daintree River cruise, guided rainforest walk, lunch in a beautiful rainforest setting, opportunity for an invigorating rainforest swim, free time at Cape Tribulation beach, complimentary tropical fruit ice-cream and a cable ferry crossing of the Daintree River.

Time

Tours depart daily from Cairns at approximately 7am and return at 6.30pm and depart Port Douglas at approximately 8.20am and return at 5.30pm
Tour does not operate on 25 December or 1 January

What To Bring

Comfortable clothes as you are in the tropics, our winter you may wish to take a light coat
Flat comfortable shoes or sandals. Preferable no thongs, and no high heels as there is uneven ground and you will be in the rainforest

Additional Information

Please note that itineraries are subject to change, and modification and some destinations may not be reached at the discretion of the Billy Tea Safaris guide on the day due to weather conditions, road conditions, possible road closures, and the safety of all passengers. Our original swim spot at Emmagen Creek is still off limits due to the aftermath of Cyclone Jasper in December 2023 but guests now have the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters of Cooper Creek during our lunch stop at the Daintree Heritage Lodge.
